BOC Life partnered with On-us to digitalize and deliver customized, high-impact wellness rewards to over 140,000 members in the Live Young Rewards program, scaling its program and successfully converting users to customters

BOC Life has long been committed to promoting healthier, happier living among Hong Kong citizens through innovative customer engagement programs. The insurer’s flagship LiveYoung (大家減齡) Rewards Loyalty Program integrates lifestyle, wellness, and reward incentives into one digital ecosystem to support its insured community.
To enhance operational efficiency and elevate user experience, BOC Life partnered with On-us to diversify the reward category and elevate the incentive management process, from merchant onboarding and voucher generation to redemption, ensuring a seamless and rewarding experience for every policyholder.

The Challenge

As BOC Life expanded its health and wellness engagement initiatives, several challenges emerged in managing large-scale, multi-merchant reward operations:

  • Complex management of diverse merchant partnerships
  • Lack of digital integration for certain merchant redemption processes
  • Need for scalable, automated systems to handle high redemption volume while maintaining brand consistency

 

On-us Solution

Since 2022, On-us has supported BOC Life across its key wellness engagement programs, including the Live Young Rewards (大家減齡) App & Live Young Health Care Project.

 

Digitalization and Expansion of Wellness Reward

  • Offering vouchers for a diverse range of merchant categories covering F&B, groceries, and wellness, etc.
  • Digitalized product vouchers for designated health services, such as body checkup, gym sessions, nutrition consultations and dementia related services.

Enhancing Incentive Management Efficiency

  • Saving the administrative effort by streamlining voucher procurement and distribution, saving staff time and accelerating In-App offering rollout
  • Merchant Enablement by creating digital voucher templates for merchant partners lacking existing e-redemption systems, facilitating easy integration for merchants like NoodFood at PURE.

Result and Impact

  • Reached over 140,000 users through targeted In-app campaigns, delivering over 250,000 incentives via On-us platform with a use rate of over 85%
  • Strengthen reward relevance with Live Young Rewards program, enhancing positive brand perception with diversified wellness and health reward choices.
